I'm Rawiyah. First off, I'm really terrible with introductions, so I'm really sorry if I sound a bit off.
I was recommended to register here from a very close friend. And I'm a little nervous, but a little excited about joining a new online community.

I guess I'm here to both, support others, and receive support for myself.
I have Anxiety and PTSD. I've been in and out of therapy for almost two years now.

I think it's really positive that you have a therapist and also that you are looking to expand your support network by being here. That is a really wonderful and positive thing you are doing for yourself.

I know how much Anxiety and PTSD suck because they are part of my Dissociative Identity Disorder too. I'm sorry to hear you are struggling with them. Feel free to drop by the Anxiety and PTSD sections of the forum and have a chat sometime or even just a read through. It can help a lot to know that the problems you are going through are stuff that other people can relate to and that you are not alone.

Yeah, I think this is one of the first support forums I've actually joined.
I think I really like the moderation here.

Oh yes, I really think that it's very helpful knowing that you're not alone.

Well, I'm hardly going to disagree with you on the moderation front, seeing as I am one of the moderators! But on a serious note, obviously I wasn't always a moderator here and one of the reasons I initially liked it here too was because people were friendly and supportive and the moderating team helped make sure that people didn't become mean or abusive like they do on a lot of other forums I've seen.

Welcome! And yup - the moderators here are awesome. I've seen other forums where it's not so, and it's a rather unpleasant experience.

As an anxiety type myself (with BP and a few other things for fun), you're in good hands here. The advise, even if you might not agree, is always honest, which I appreciate.
