Hello 2012

My name is Jim, I am married to a bi polar woman. She can be very mean and abusive one minute and sweet and nice the next. I call the bad times meltdowns and the good times normal. I am here to try to figure out how to handle her. She can say some mean ugly abusive things that under normal circumstance could not be forgiven but she is my wife and I over look it. My question is how to deal with it? Another forum I was on talked of being only loving and understanding of it but that is not possible. The actions get out of hand with her saying things , being rude and disrespectful of my mother and other people around. H ow do I control it? I try disipline her like a child, to trying to reason with it does not work............HELP!
