Figured I'd post here to prove that I am not a spammer I help run a forum and I know how it is.

I came here to seek help understanding my nephew who has ADHD and Aspergers. I want to understand Aspergers more so, but I also want to learn how the ADHD might contribute to it. I'll admit before knowing a person has Aspergers, they typically come off as the most obnoxious people in the world to me, but that is more so what I am perceiving as simply their personality. I try not to judge people though and instead of refusing to understand Aspergers, I hope to educate myself.

I personally do not have any psych issues myself except for panic anxiety if that counts. I've dealt with it since the beginning of my senior year of high school. Which is amusing because my mom suffers from it too and that is when it began for her as well.

I think it is good you are seeking to better understand your nephew's conditions. Also, you mentioned you have had some anxiety issues, there is a forum for that also if you would like to seek support for that also.
