HELLO...I THOUGHT I'D JOIN THIS FORUM TO POSSIBLY FIND SOME ANSWERS REGARDING MY 13 YEAR OLD SON. HE WAS DIAGNOSED WITH ADD 8 YEARS AGO. THE FIRST YEAR HE WAS PRESCRIBED CONCERTTA...THAT DIDN'T WORK, THEN STRATERRA...THAT DIDN'T WORK EITHER. ONE MED. GAVE HIM INSOMNIA THE OTHER SEVERE LOSS OF APPETITE. THE DR. TOOK HIM OFF AND HE'S BEEN ON NOTHING SINCE. LATELY HIS SYMPTOMS SUCH AS BEHAVIOR AT HOME AND IN SCHOOL HAVE PLUMMETED. SOMEONE SUGGESTED O.D.D RATHER THAN A.D.D. BUT THE SYMPTOMS SEEM SO SIMILAR IDK WHAT TO THINK. HE HAS A DR.'S APT. TOMORROW BUT JUST WANTED SOME IDEAS HERE FIRST. I AM LOSING MY MIND WITH HELPLESS EMOTIONS AND ANGER. WHAT DO I DO??

I'm sorry to hear about your son's problems. I think it's probably just best to let the doctors do their thing to try to help him. So long as you and your son are being honest about all his symptoms to the doctors, they will be able to help you the best that they can.

I hope you find some support and understanding by being on this forum... By the way, it might be best to turn off the CAPS lock, as capitals are interpreted as screaming by most people on the internet...

Firstly Be calm and cool and take some worth decision about your son, be practical and take him to advice best doctors opinion in your city. I think you are emotional person so please have chat with your family and friends take a right decision.
Don't worry he will be fine soon.
