I notice most sub-forums appear to be about specific conditions is there a board where we can just chat about psychology in general?

You can discuss different topics in Living With Mental Illness dealing with mental health as peer support or offer some useful information, but not come across as a professional as stated by the rules. But like I said first, this is an online peer support forum first and foremost.
