Whoops I didn't notice this thread O__O

Hi I'm a 23 year old girl living in Georgia (US state, not the country). I've been diagnosed with bipolar disorder, borderline personality disorder, OCD, and PTSD. I'm on 1100mg of lithium, 50mg Thorozine, and 2 different water pills. I feel like I've been on every medication ever created (I know I haven't, I've just been on so many different ones!)

I'm currently in PHP at my local mental hospital, and having some difficulty with the program, but after 4 hospitalizations I'm hoping it really works.

I'm excited to be a part of this forum now!

Hi, you can call me Greene, my middle name.
I'm 23, female, freelance artist. I have BPD, severe depression, BDD and eating issues, PTSD, and whatever else they decide is wrong with me. I'm currently unmedicated and trying to get back into therapy. I posted a thread with some details on my history but might as well say hello here as well.

Hello!

56 years old, youngest of 15, 9 brothers, 6 sisters. sexually abused 1st by brother in law at age 5, then fondled by 2 brothers that I can remember and another brother in 5th grade, can't recall the entire event but what I remember was enough. This brother just died. Family reunion this weekend. Do not want to go.

Thank you

Seems like a good place to let go what I desperatly hold back each day. Reaching 40 now and happly married for 10 of the 40, along with a wonderful 17 yr old step daughter and 5 cats. Both of my parents are still alive and live in the same community as I do. The community I live in just so happens to be the community I grew up in. I have for about 5 to 6 years now, watched my father turn into a person I no longer know. This has greatly effected me and most of the people in my family and community. My father has done harm to others (emotionaly), and to thier personal property and has finally been caught red handed by the athorities. He has been in jail twice now for the damage he has caused to personal property and to this day still denies he is doing any of this. He has lied to my mother and I for this period of time and now I have finally come to terms in disowning him as my father. My father has had Psych attention durring this entire time and my mother still stands by his side to this very day. What really bothers me is that I have the same name as my father and when he was caught last time it was on the local news, my name was drug through the dirt and still I'm asked by people who dont even know me because I wear a name tag.

Hi,
I feel you. You can always change your name. I know 2 people have done this.
If you feel you are carrying some "label" get rid of it. Make you life your own.
peace to you,
Red

Hello, my name is Topher.

I'm an eighteen year old Scottish guy.

I've known for a long time that I have DID. I get depressed easily, have a memory like sieve with ten inch holes in it - instead of miniscule ones and my moods change like that *snaps fingers*.

Kit is the name of my alter and he's difficult to be around sometimes. If he's ever on here and he's rude just tell him to shut up ^^

Nice meeting ya.

Hey Topher,

I'm Irish but live in Leicester now. I was mistaken as a Scotsman once, but it was a Moroccan who mistook for - :) Are you living in Scotland?

Hi , I'm Melewan from Saskatchewan Canada. I've been diagnosed with clinical depression and have been on Paxil 40mg/day for the last couple of years. Most days I'm able to cope but lately have been suffering from drastic mood changes and more frequent bouts of hopelessness........not to the point of being suicidal.
I stumbled onto these forums and glad that at least I've found people who know about these feelings and aren't going to say " Shake it off......just think positive thoughts and you'll be ok"
Thanks for being here

Hi. I have schizoaffective disorder and take abilify and celexa. I don't have any friends. My illness is managed well with my medication, i dont think the tv is talking to me, or people are writing down everything i buy at the supermarket, or listen to loud rock music , but i do suffer from anxiety, social anxiety. I don't drink or do drugs anymore. I have 5 years clean. I attend support groups for my illness and my substance abuse. I think it would be interesting to belong to this group to meet others who suffer like me. Hi everybody, I am from Rocklin, CA. I spend a lot of time on the computer playing world of warcraft and diablo lod.
