New here, looking to feel a bit less alone.

Hi, you can call me cake. I'm in my early 20s and was diagnosed with major depressive disorder as a teenager, although I'm told I exhibited symptoms throughout my entire childhood. I am currently trying to get by without the help of doctors or medications (I've have more bad experiences with both than I can count). I am not able to get out of my home very often, and so have very few friends to confide in, so I'm hoping this forum will make me feel less alone.
