First things first: there is a problem with the registration procedure. My regular email address at gmx.com was rejected and the one I have just created at 10-minute mail is accepted... Perhaps something to fix...? Or something I did wrong, I don't know. I am not familiar at all with the Internet (and forums in general).

Well, what is to say. I am a middle-aged man and a scientist with more questions than answers and I try understanding people in order to be of better help.

Welcome to the forum, Francis. Not all email providers are accepted here [because they supply so much spam. I had to switch to gmail myself.] I don't know if gmx.com would be in that category, though. Now that your account's working, perhaps you could try changing it?
