Freedom of expression

Is there a place in this forum where I can freely express my thoughts without giving it much thought? Not all my thoughts are politically correct for some reason.

I don't know where the best place would be to put politically incorrect ideas,

I've found things have suddenly become a bit "gentrified" recently, everyone has suddenly turned overly gentle and polite and very 'politically correct'.
It would be a good thing if there is somewhere for freedom of expression, I hope you get some good suggestions.

I don't mind the politeness and being gentle, especially in a place with emotionally sensitive topics. I do, however, feel a bit restricted in terms of free expression as long as it doesn't cause pain/offence to anyone. I also know it's not always easy not to cross this line. Difficult topic.

So you're looking for a safe place to post it, that makes sense. I wonder if one of the moderators would be able to identify the best place to post?

Something like that, yes.

We respect members' right to their own religious beliefs. However in posting we ask you to respect the views of other members and their religious beliefs, spiritual systems or choice not to follow any form of religion. Posts that excessively promote a belief are not permitted. Discrimination based on religion will also not be tolerated. Political commentary in forum is prohibited.

That's especially true for the forums...

But if you fudge a little in your personal blog (My Blog link in the upper right quadrant of the screen), I'm not going to say anything about it. Just as long as it's not too incendiary. All blogs (and replies) are always under moderator review, and no flame war can start there. I'd suggest the blogs for random and/or forum-discouraged musings.

I am not religious or opposed to other people's religion, but I will try not to promote beliefs in general in future. Blog also sounds like a good idea. Thank you for the response.

No problem. And I was just quoting the whole section about subjects that have to be done carefully, including the bit about religion (or lack thereof).
