PsychForum issues

Postby Restin Wells » Fri Feb 20, 2015 12:51 pm

I'm a psychology student at UCF and attend several psych forums on the web to educate and improve myself. I'm in therapy also. I like to read on this forum, but only come occasionally because of frustration with the site. The pages come on very slowly and are cluttered with advertising that are annoying and that require me to click off .
My pc is on highspeed DSL and has pop-up blockers, and is only here that I have these annoyances. It would be a great site here, and probably draw more members and money if it were not such an aggravation to be on the site.
I find myself joining and quitting alternately, through the years, as I get fed up with the junk ads plastered on the page I'm trying to read...and the slowness to load pages.

Adblock works real well for me. Everybody gets these, get a good blocker for the ads, i think some are better than others. There is no other way around it!

I have AdBlock too. It's good aswell for watching iplayer so you don't have to sit through the adverts when watching your shows back online (although some media websites do not allow you to watch the shows with AdBlock switched on  ). But on the whole it's very helpful.
