i come from a fairly poor family. im 21 and according to california your parents can no longer claim you therefor you dont get the health issurance they have anymore. And if i dont have health innsurance how am I gonna beable to get help through a doctor or therophist? When i think about these things it just makes me depressed and anxious as hell, cause if i cant get any help because i simply cant afford then, whats the point? i mean ill be damned if i continue on living the life i do now. so im afraid if i dont get help soon, things are gonna get fairly bad. if anyone has any information on any help i can get in the San Luis Obispo county area or even online. any hint of there being help for me out there would be such a relief. thank you all very much.

The best thing to do is to get a diagnosis of GAD etc from a doctor, they then if you need it to help with symptoms give you a perscription for medication.
If you can't afford it is there some kind of assistance that you could get on?

well i do work at wal-mart. its just when i first got hired i just barley missed the sign ups for the benefiets. so now im stuck until next sign up which is in 4-5 months im guessing. i just feel that im gonna break down befor im able to get the help i need. and then ill end up losing my job along with the benefiets i desprately need. so what ive understood over the past years is that, if your suffering from a mental illness or a life threatning illness and if you dont have any health innsurance you pretty much might aswell digging yourself a 6 foot hole. maybe i just havnt found the right information but thats what ive learned to accept. and theres nothing else that makes me more depressed then the fact that if you dont get health innsurance then your on your own. and that there makes me wanna give up on everything. Thanks for your replay. take care

steal the meds from wal-mart pharmacy haha im just kidding
uhh when I was on lexapro 2 years ago i was getting the sample packs or something for a while, which was really cheap (when I had to go get real perscriptions it was like 80 bucks a month ;F). Tell your Doc your situation.. I'm sure there's got to be something they can do for ya. Good luck
