I'll pass.
I'm too embittered by my past experiences with antisocials to find this post funny.

Then why click on it, when the title makes it quite obvious what it is, read it AND reply? :P Do my spidey senses detect discrimination...

Going by my past experience with masochists, I find them interesting

Hey, everyone, look what Demon found for us. **TRIGGER WARNING** I'm not sure what the author means by saying she "betrayed" the supposed psychopath she was involved with. Since she said he was her boyfriend, I would assume she means she cheated, but I don't know. And I don't know if Gary Ridgway was a psychopath or not, but I hope none of our sweetie-paths ever become like him.

Guess what's in season where I am?

And got dangit, how did I miss this?!

When I searched for "Hug a Psychopath Day," I didn't see one page containing the whole phrase.

Image Eh, well, it's not like stixandstonz661 has any more authority than I do just because she wrote about Hug a Psychopath Day before I wrote about Hug a Psychopath Week. And anyway, it wouldn't be the first time something like this happened in the US. Our National Donut Day is the first Friday of June, but National Donut Month is October. Try to make sense of that.

That's what I assumed. I don't consider cheating betrayal when I do it :P Actually, if I'm in a relationship with someone with a relatively normal emotional range, it would be cool if they cheated... I could use it against them. Guilt is a powerful tool.

You mean by getting caught? Nah... I think being self aware helps avoid detection  I don't think I'd be *that* into the latter part of his crime anyway. Has a certain 'ick' factor to it, but I suppose the old saying 'Don't knock it until you've tried it' could apply there.

Wows! Must be hella noisy there with all those cats in season! They just can scream up a storm during their seasons.

Lucky for me, strawberries just came in season here... yum... I've been enjoying a lot of fresh strawberries daily.

Flowingtears, you're probably acquainted with at least one. Most people are, but not everyone is aware of it.

because they're not looking and engage in self-delusion.

you can judge whether someone is high psychopathy accurately by using the interpersonal adjective scale. it can be found here: http://www.paultrapnell.com/measures/IASRB5_IASR.RTF

clicking the link will prompt you to allow a download of the file. it's safe. it tells you about the ias-r.

if you know someone well enough to know that he is tricky & cunning in dealings with others and he tends to brag, there's a good chance he's high psychopathy. the correlation between arrogant-calculating ratings by a non-expert and clinical psychopathy is extremely high for male subjects (don't know about females). low scores in on the "unassuming-ingenuous" factor are also strongly correlated with clinical psychopathy.

if the man is high psychopathy and also high on the coldhearted factor, watch out. high cold-heartedness ratings are strongly correlated with psychopathy in prisoners but not in free men. coldheartedness includes being cruel, not caring about whether you hurt others, lacking compassion, etc.

low warm-agreeable scores are strongly correlated with psychopathy in incarcerated men, but not in a sample of college undergrads.

how strong are these correlations? arrogant-calculating ratings have a .76 correlation with pcl-sv scores in inmates and .81 in college students. unassuming-ingenuous has a -.66 correlation with pcl-sv scores in students and -.84 in inmates. correlations around .8 are considered extremely strong.

third parties rate me as extremely high in arrogant-calculating, extremely low in unassuming-ingenuous, extremely high in coldheartedness, and extremely low in warm-agreeable.
