The weak ones are there to justify the strong?

Do you agree or disagree? Why?

Any opinion/thought/idea on this matter is very welcome and highly appreciated.

The sentence on a video which I just stumbled upon appears to have very similar meaning to that:

Some need to be disregarded so that others' popularity is worthwile.

Disagree. I think they are no more there to justify the strong, then the strong are there to justify the weak. Without each other, they do not exist. There are no celebrities if everybody is famous. There are no black people if everybody is white. Diversity exists and we use it to form our sense of individuality.

Thanks for the link. I did not find it sad. I can relate to the character, but I am happy in my 'role', whilst he seems not to be. If he wants to be noticed, why does he not make himself noticeable? It seems the thing in his way is not society or others' popularity, but himself.
