i was at a science forum and found a guy that has cut out a niche for himself there by combining science with art. he is always harrassed by the "true scientists".
the moderator left a joke that insinuated he wasn't true to science because he was just looking at science's butt and did not find the beauty in the boring details.
i reminded the moderator that science must always be bailed out by the unnerving eye of the mathematician who really does the work.
i told him that as long as both sides of the equation are equal then i am game.
the moral?
you can't argue with the math. its pointless...

The realization that society's idea of a "healthy romantic relationship" amounts to nothing more or less than a business arrangement, while all the elements and traits of true romantic love are demonized. Makes me laugh in pity and condescension.
