Ya got jokes?

I'm not always in the mood to laugh, or always laugh when appropriate, but I wanted to share this one I stumbled across. It reminds me of a couple interesting characters I've met in the past.

A patient at a Mental Institution hung himself from the ceiling of the activity room of the hospital. Right below him another patient sat comfortably in a chair quietly reading a book he found earlier. Not long after, one of the nurses entered the room and was shocked to see the man hanging from the ceiling.

She went directly to the man reading the book under the hanging patient. "What in God's name happened here?" she asked him.

"He thinks he's a light bulb" replied the reading patient.

Shocked, she asked "Why the Hell did you just leave him hanging there?"

The patient replied, "And what? read in the dark?"

An architect, an artist and an engineer were discussing whether it was better to spend time with the wife or a mistress. The architect said he enjoyed time with his wife, building a solid foundation for an enduring relationship. The artist said he enjoyed time with his mistress, because of the passion and mystery he found there. The engineer said, "I like both." "Both?" Engineer: "Yeah. If you have a wife and a mistress, they will each assume you are spending time with the other woman, and you can go to the lab and get some work done."
