Oldboy, Seven Samurai, and The Onion Movie.

You read that right. OH! Wait... White Dog, by Samuel Fuller. That movie's narrative technique influenced me so much... wow. You need to see it. Everyone who see's it all the way through on one take always thinks the same thing at the end. Its like a real life "Inception"; they stick that one simple thought into everyones head at once, and you don't know how, or why, but it works, and you just leave wondering how the hell you've been so ######6 blind all these years. Its amazing.

Movies are meant to be played a certain way, in a cinema it's done to tell a story... sometimes that story is extended for DVD but when it goes to TV it is reduced to fit into guidelines - why don't they just put the movie on later and leave all the bits in it if it can't go into a family time slot uncut? There are plenty of family based movies that can be shown at a normal time.
