What's your favourite kind of weather (and season)?

I like winter. I like rain. I like them because:

- You can put more layers on, but you can't take everything off
- Winter fashion >>>>>> summer fashion
- A/C chews up petrol. Hence it's not fun driving in summer (cos I refuse to turn on the A/C unless absolutely necessary)
- It's very refreshing. The winter air is clear, cold and crisp. The rain washes everything away and I like its smell. Dunno, I just feel more alive.
- I just like the look of grey skies
- Hot showers!
- Both are very serene. Very tranquil. Good for the constant inner turmoil
- The earth physically looks more beautiful after a good bout of rain (or in winter in general)
- I get a physical headache if I stand in the sun for more than 5-10 minutes.

HOw about you guys?

Fall is my favorite, I love the colors and the smell and the atmosphere around everything.

Spring is up there also because I like it when everything blooms and the spring/summer storms

It does completely depend where in the world I am, because I know for sure I'd like certain seasons and weather conditions a lot more in other places.

Although for myself in the west-midlands of the UK.

I like the summer the most

- Long sunlight hours
- Warm enough to get out of bed without shaking
- People seem happier
- Socializing is better

I think I suffer from mild seasonal depression... :-/

I'm not sure i have a favourite kind of weather or season. I do however have specific reasons for liking some kinds of weather. Rain for example. I like rain. When it's raining you can go out for a walk or whatever and If you stick to outdoor places there are bugger all other people about. There's saying that i know of which i quite like. There's no such thing as wrong weather it's just wrong clothing.

Hmmm, I did'nt realise you are in the West Midlands. I'm in the East Midlands (in Leicester). I really like the lengthy light-hours this time of the year, and I'm already dreading Winter. Still, if was hot all of the time, I think Id' be angry at that too. It's good that we have a nice mix of weather here I guess, and it's the same back in Ireland.

I like small breezes the most the kinds that make the leaves in the trees rustle, not to hot perhaps like 17C is nice.

...like the breeze here today then: It was around 20C and there was a nice breeze. There are a lot of beautiful people around too, of all shapes and sizes. The Sunshine makes me feel more upbeat and happy.

yeah it is an interesting mix in england hehe, although if i lived any further north I think it'd start getting too chilly for me during late autumn to early spring.

i like the weather down in south france where half my family live, apart from in summer it can get too hot to focus on anything xD

My favorite kind of weather is cool and overcast, and my favorite season is winter.
I love the cold, it's one of the few things that makes me feel alive.

Summer is definitely my least favorite; bugs all over the place, lots of people outside, and the heat/humidity drains all my energy (and makes my skin sting/get really itchy).

Yes, the same weather here I love this weather, and the fresh new leaves springing out. I read this thread and cringed over my bad grammar... almost unreadable without a comma. The smell of fresh birch leaves in the spring. Birch is my most favourite tree and now in the spring they are such a pretty green colour. The breeze makes the branches dance so nicely.

I really missed the trees when I was in the UK, but one thing there is in the UK that I miss here in the spring are the blossoms. I have a picture of them on my wall though. White blossoms.
