Hmm, I don't know any of the songs mentioned so far (except Fix You). I am currently listening to Nirvana's On A Plain, which is intense. Others that come to mind include Puddle of Mudd's She Hates Me and of course that Rage Against the Machine song that everyone knows (Killing in the Name of).

When it comes strictly to lyrics I very much identify or used to identify with Robbie Williams songs like 'feel' and 'how do you rate the morning sun'

By intense I don't know if you mean heavy songs or just songs that feel deep.

Nevermore - "Believe in Nothing" http://listen.grooveshark.com/#/s/Belie ... ing/1P7gur
Nevermore - "Dreaming Neon Black" http://listen.grooveshark.com/#/s/Dream ... Black/Nhsl

I listen to this one when I want to chill out
Orphaned Land - "The Calm Before the Flood" http://listen.grooveshark.com/#/s/The+C ... ood/18Eov5

Hrmm Chucky I don't know, last night when I posted them the links worked. I justed checked them again and they all work. I can only think that it was because they just did some maintenance on the website this morning so maybe their databases weren't fully up yet or something.

Still don't work now dude... ...It could be an international rights issue. I knowe that some YouTube videos don't work here in the UK, for example, but they workl when I go back home to Ireland.

eppie, that last song you mentioned is cool. Is Dominique Rijpma van Hulst still popular in yior country?
