In Ireland, Fianna Fáil is the ruling party, and they have lost many seats. However, my uncle (who is a Fianna Fáil candidate), won his seat!
You´re right. Then, the percentage was higher, at about 40. Anyway, I consider this participation very low. In my country, the European elections had been treating as a national elections. I have heard that it was the same in many countries.
Anyway, I want things change in my country. You know, a great rate of unemployment. But I think all will go on the same, unless there will be a A-flu epidemic. A drastic solution, isn´t it?
