out of topic, but there is an animal that is amazing for me. The Great White Shark.

Did you know that a shark isn't a 'true' fish? It is called an Elasmobranch. Here is how it is different from true fish:

1 - A shark has skin, not scales
2 - A shark's skeleton is made of cartilage, not bone
3 - A shark has no swim-bladder (fish do)

Insects carry lots of diseases - sí - but the human body has an immune system that can kill these diseases easily. However, the immune system cannot defeat the crushing jaw/teeth of a hippopotamous!

Yeah, I know this but how they move in the water without swim bladders? (I mean Sharks). And did you know that some biologhies have search that there are cases of hermaphroditism in some sharks when there aren´t males around.

Chucky, I was thinking about many people in Africa that die because the haven´t the meds to treat malaria.

Why were you thinking about Malaria? Is it because I mentioned it? I will be going to Liverpool tomorrow (Wednesday) for an interview for a PhD (doctorate) about malaria. In Africa, 1,000,000 people die each year because of Malaria. In the world, the figure is 2,500,000.

Maybe I did not speak about malaria yet. Anyway, I am back home in Ireland now. The interview went 'very well' according to the supervisor/interviewer. I have more interviews though: University of Bath next Tuesday; and King's College London next Friday (12th June). I am very excited about the King's College one because it is a world-renowned university.

They are for a doctorate (PhD) in research, but I will get money for doing them. I have an offer accepted for a university in York, but I am continuing to apply to thes other places. The one in Liverpool is about malaria/mosquitos, the one in London is about inmunología, and the one in Bath is about fósiles.

Doing research is better than doing office-work; and I have done lots of office work over the past few years. What job do you want to do?

You´re right. Working on an office is not a very interesting job.
