Prior to those two I grew up with a brother and sister, blacker then those two and they were fantastic to have.

Sadly, alot of black kitty's at shelters don't get adopted because of that way of thinking. :( And I've found that every black kitty i've come across in someones home, or when I was at the shelter were the sweetest hings.

I was jocking, Butterfly. Cats are awesome! I have a little black and white cat, very small that we rescute from a car. But my father gave him or her to a friend that had a cottage.

Black cats are the best! I forgot to include my outdoor cat Scaredy. She is so sweet. She doesn't let anyone pet her or anything but she talks to you if you talk to her. She's black. She's also pregnant. I can't wait to see her litter this year. Her last litter didn't make it. I feel bad for her because she is the only outside cat we have left. I think she is lonely.

Good point. I guess they're just like black dogs. Some good ones, some bad ones.

There's no such thing as a bad pet. It's the owners fault if that happens.

All animals can be socialized. :) I socialized cats that were really scared, and not so nice, and they ended up to be nice kitties... just takes a lot of time and trust...

Here's a picture of the loves of my life when they were kittens, me and my roomie in college got them at the same time so that they would keep each other out of trouble, they're both about 2 now. Elwood is the little tiger and Dante the little racoon.

Here's Dante all grown up, his foster parents thought he might be a breed of cat called a ragdoll.

Everyone has such pretty kitties!

Yours looks like a ragdoll to me.

That is another reason why I don´t have a dog, because he will be like me scary and non-sociable.
