Thanks for the response Arbie. Good to hear the reminder that I'm not the only one who goes through this kind of thing. That helps me feel better! : -)

I guess me being OCPD also means I can go a little overboard when I dwell on some things, and I will admit that I have definately sometimes done that without even realising but now I know I do that I will try my best not to.

Having OCD, I think for me that counts as a strong factor as to why I dwell alot too! I know it's definitely not easy at times to break the habit. But I'm also trying my best to work on doing so too.

...I've used my OCD to move on swiftly from situations that only hurt me. It's a 'habit' (or obsession) that i've allowed myself to develop when faced with such situations..

Thank you for that insight Chucky, I will try to do the same and try to use my condition to move on from things instead of dwelling on them.

Slightly annoyed, but mainly happy. Annoyed because the therapist wants me on meds (for my own good, yeah, but still), but happy because he says that I'm intelligent and rather logical and that that'll help the process a lot.

Also a bit scared because it's a bit hard at times to differentiate reality from hallucination, but I should be able to figure it out, so bit of hope with that.

Today I feel like a leaf on the water, just going along for the ride... I really would rather be an eagle soaring looking for something, the thing I seek today is ...INSPIRATION...

Good idea. Think I'll give it a go. Many thanks for the tip.

Today I feel a bit sore and a little tired which is understandable when your chasing guys half your age around in a contact sport that moves fast and continuous
