I'm reading the book I wrote desiring recovery.

Pitch:
Desiring Recovery will shock audiences when orgasmic labor gives way to a delusional condition that gives interested listeners knowledge, and makes empathetic readers feel.

Author Sunny Mera thought she had it all—a house, a husband, graduate school, and a baby on the way—until intense self-exploration during pregnancy left her primed for disaster. The shocking physical and psychological phenomena of orgasmic labor and the touch of the OB triggered a chain of bizarre events: she experienced a delusional condition for the doctor.

Sunny’s precise descriptions of delusional states show the area between real and unreal. Desiring Recovery outlines the strengths that she relied on to succeed following her initial diagnosis and eventual divorce. She lives a full life in recovery with her daughter and their dog, thanks to effective medication, treatment, and peer support.

Currently reading The Art of Shrinking Heads: On the new servitude of the liberated in the age of total capitalism by Dany-Robert Dufour.

“Kant, in his wisdom, seems to me to go much further than Sade because, for him, all Others are equally valid and their only role is to perpetuate the endless, restless motion of reason in action. Nature does not have any special pre-eminence in Kant. That is why I do not think that sadism reveals what is repressed in Kant’s ethics or that, if it does, it does so in order to interrupt its course. We might therefore say that, paradoxically, it is Sade and not Kant who interrupts reason (and desire) by introducing a permanent transgression… It was therefore the fact that the progress of reason came to a halt that led to Nazism, and not its continuation” (Dufour 2008, 40).

Good Omens by Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett. The Sleeping Dragon by Joel Rosenberg. Jhereg by Steven Brust. Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy by Douglas Adams.

Yes, currently. My wife keeps yelling at me for all the open books lying around the room.
