I don't know if this is the right board to post in, but I have a project due monday. I have to interview a psychologist ( I'm looking in to pursuing a career in psychology). If there's anyone here who wouldn't mind helping me out, or knows someone who could, here's some questions. please answer which ever you feel comfortable with. Thanks in advance.
1. Name, job title, place of employment, contact info (an email address will do)
2. How did you decide on your career?
3. What preparation or courses did you find necessary upon entering the job?
4. What advice would you give to beginning college students about things they could start doing now to help them prepare to enter your career?
5. What do you like most about your career?
6. What's the biggest challenge you encounter?
7. Does you career have a big impact on your life? Is it negative or positive?
8. How do you spend a typical day at work?
9. What personal skills or qualities do you see as being essential for success in your career?
10. How does someone advance in your career?
11. Are there any moral or ethical challenges that tend to arise in your career?
12. If you had to do it over again, would you choose the same career?
