Heheheh.....

I have ADHD and will often forget what I was going to. This is mostly because I will get distracted by some means (outside distraction, or just drifting off in my head) and then I move on autopilot to the destination of wherever it was I was going..... arrive in the room and have no idea why I'm in there, and don't always remember. Your example of forgetting as soon as you get to the computer sounds like me as well.

Can't wait to see how I am in old age.

I think that's pretty normal, or not like clinically concerning forgetfulness if that's what you're asking lol. ;)

I get that too, and don't have ADHD.

I go to the convenience store, forget why I'm there. Remember why, take it to the counter, ask for an extra 20$ (sometimes the whole reason I even buy anything), and leave without the 20$, sometimes without my purchase too.

Lol at the convenience store thing... I'll do that, too....

I wasn't saying all this means you must AD/HD, but the disorder normally gives a proness for it all. I think mostly for being very inattentive and sort of in your head a lot. Which is what I expected was going on with you. ;) (You said you get distracted by thoughts)

I'd say its part of asperger too, to be distracted and mostly to drift off to my own world.
