Forget about mental illness for a while and just let loose in here.

^Strangely enough Max has never coughed up a hairball, but has run to hard floor a few times when he did start hacking. Most of my apartment is carpet. Once he had an accident on the same hard flooring due to the door to his litter box being shut by accident. Not sure how he got so house broken, but I'll take it over the previous ones I've lived around who practically locked eyes with me while they insisted on carpet after moving them. I agree they're worth it though.

Came home to a very hyper lil nutcase, but seems he did ok.

Now I'm basking in the fact that after a week I can go back to easily, neurotically pacing while muttering to myself in one side of the apartment, as my boyfriend games in the backroom.

Honestly I'm amazed how easily that week went with an extra person here. I don't believe I could have done that a year or two ago.

omg ur me.

do you bang your forehead with the heel of your hand while you're doing this?

I'm fine with houseguests as long as they do not use or go near the kitchen or bathroom.

Not quite. Mostly I ramble, walk in circles and the more stressed I get the more I need to touch corners and random things like couch arms.

Thankfully I never developed any huge OCD traits with germs. I keep things clean and such, but I don't panic over other people's cooties as long as they aren't trying to do things like stick their fingers in my mouth or something gross like that. My mom and dad both have that to an extent (especially my mom). I honestly surprised I didn't catch that bug. Whenever my mom calls, I go through a need to power-wash my entire living space, but that at most lasts a day.

Consider yourself lucky.

I get freaked out by the fact that bacteria covers everything. I have "decontamination clothes" I change into between coming home and getting in the shower.

Eating and finally getting around to watching Scrubs. Been told for years it's a show everyone should watch. My brain needed a break, so seemed like a good decision as any.

Getting ready to watch the new season of Orange is the New Black on Netflix.

And eat banana bread which I've become expert at making.

Proud of myself for saying no to the invite last night. Got one more deadline. Saw a pic on ig though and feeling sad for missing it. The hangout will probably last for another 2, 3 days, so still not on the safe side. By trying to avoid substances, I'm also avoiding at least 10 interesting amazing people I genuinely like hanging out with. Wanted to be there, really, and unsure how long I can keep this up. It's impossible to go and not end up taking something, I've tried that one many times. Clean cut is the only thing that works, yet still I'm having hard time remembering why am I doing this. I'm not happy this way either. I miss the atmosphere and fun and madness and everything and everyone. Isn't this what youth is supposed to be spent on anyways?

Answering my own question:

- NO it is not you idiot.
