Continue the story...

As you all have figured out I love to play games. It is a great distraction for me. Let's try a new one.

This is a game where we continue a story by adding one sentence at a time. You can add 2 sentences if you need too but please try to limit it to one. Also, try to follow the theme of the story. Your addition to the thread should follow some logical pathway to make the story flow.

I'll start...

It was a bright sunny day.

So I hear anyway. I haven't been outside in days.

But it's time to go out and visit the town.

So I put on my coat and open the door.

I was greeted by the sun and started my walk to town.

But i had to turn back, as i hadn't put my pants or shoes on.

I run into my neighbor on my way back.

He had stolen my pants and shoes and was wearing them.

Was about to set the dog on them, when i suddenly realised that i had left the dog in the oven to dry out.

"I say," I said. "Might those be my pantaloons?"
