Are you dumber than me?

Not an easy feat to accomplish given how this IQ test (one of the rare ones that don't artificially boost one's score compared to the tested population) has scored me below average with an IQ of only 93.

Welp.. I admit speed was never one of my strengths. And unlike many other online "IQ tests" that only test your pattern recognition skills (and where I usually score in the 120s/130s), this one sports exercises for a whole array of cognitive abilities in a relatively short period of time. I'd say this is one of the most honest IQ tests one can find on the internet. And probably one of the most entertaining too, which is what really matters anyway.

Accuracy be damned! Go ahead and try to ace this challenging test. Post your results here if you dare.

No, but I'm still pretty dumb.

I got 91, which is still in the normal range supposedly. I'm not all that surprised really, I've always known my autism spectrum disorder wasn't so severe that it would put me within the "intellectual disability" range, but it still impacted me in a milder way. Proof that "higher functioning autism" doesn't mean I am a genius. I made it through college with minimal outside help, but still barely scored an average grade. I spoke to a learning support adviser at my college, and we both agreed that slow processing speed was one of my primary issues, so maybe if the time interval on the test was longer, I'd be able to score higher.

Still, this is a mental health forum and understandably we all suffer from issues that can effect our cognitive abilities -- such as depression, brain fog, alcoholism, or substance abuse; among other issues.

If I had taken this test when I was younger, I likely would've scorned much higher. Things just went so wrong as I got older. So in short, I can have a regular conversation with somebody, but at the same time, I can't grasp more complex mental tasks... I still won't accept this as the whole truth, as not only am I in a bad state right now, but also because there are other tests out there that give different results. The only accurate way to find out your IQ score would be during an official test.

So basically I have good reason to self-loathe.

In real life I've scored 155, in this site 127.

So essentially this test downplays your IQ? In that case then, I very well could have an IQ in the 100-110 range?



If I wanted a completely accurate result, I guess would have to take a comprehensive IQ test such as Mensa.

Don't trust virtual IQ tests. If you want to know more about your IQ and limitations, find a psychologist.
