16 Blocks with Bruce Willis, Mos Def and David Morse. Mos Def sounded exactly like Smokey from the PJ's, but he's not the same guy who did Smokey's voice. I'd rate it a 6. I liked David Morse's dirty cop. He also played an anal retentive cop in several House, M.D. episodes, and I enjoyed hating that character, too.

Casino Royale a 5, although I give the chase scene in the beginning a 10, mainly due to the incredible athletic abilities of the African Bond is chasing. The actor who played Bond reminds me of Steve McQueen. He was good, but the movie overall seemed flat and stilted.

Shaun the Sheep is a solid 10. Its a series of animated shorts from British tv. I loved all 40 episodes!

I quite liked American History X..

Anyway, I'm in the process of watching Clockwork Orange.. and it's oddly interesting. At the moment I'd probably give it a 6, but who knows once it's finished.

Last movie I saw was "The Holiday" 0 out of 10. I was sickened throughout the whole movie. waaaaaaaay too corny. And I actually like cheesy romantic comedies. This was just too much. But before that I saw Pan's Labyrinth. I loved it. I'd give it a 10 as well. I began watching The Science of Sleep a couple weeks ago but the 2 goofballs that I was with I think were too lazy to read the subtitles. I was bummed. It was getting good.
Hoggle, lol, could your favorite movie be the Labyrinth with David Bowie? That movie was this $#%^!

Two movies I saw some time ago but are worth mentioning:
Threads...What happens to the infrastructure after nuclear war. 1984.
The Journey of August King...a man in a slave state helps a slave escape with great sacrifice to himself. 1995. I rate these as 10's.
I have seen Beetlejuice 5 times. 10!

I'm watching The Perfect Storm at the moment. I've seen it before but it was years ago... I'll give it an 8. Good storyline, end is a bit disappointing. Oh, and Mark Wahlberg is HOT.

I saw Casino Royale for the first time last night. It was, for me, the best film of the Bond series so far. I was pleased that they appeared to have hardened the Bond character and [Daniel] Craig played the role excellently. I cannot discredit it in any way. It was all serious and intensely absorbing.

Comparing Casino Royale to the most recent [Pierce Brosnan] Bond films... well ...it's above them in every way.

Oh I'm dying to see this movie, but it wasn't released in any theatres near me and I forgot about it. Adding it to the list of things to watch!

I saw Wild Hogs last night. Wasn't the greatest film ever, but it had me in stitches for the whole thing so I'll give it an 8.5.
