My guess is smaller places feel safer.

^Maybe, I think very small places can make you feel almost anxious but I am not a cat.

Yesterday one of the cats put himself in my handbag when I had to go out

. He did not like me going anywhere. He is very big cat (he is a little bit overweight) and I do not understand how he did it.
