Bullterriers have a bad reputation, but sadly thats all it takes for them to be dangerous for people, because our fear triggers their attack instincts. Just imagine a 5yo child killed by a dog, its so sad it should not be left out on chance, those dogs should be illegal in my opinion. I could own a dog and convince myself they are ok, but id be lying to myself.

That's true, but it's more about how you raise the dog.

I've got two kittens, Chubbles (the one with the Batman mask) and Jango (the black and orange with white tortie). Jango... she's got to be the feistiest cat I've ever seen and Chubs is the most calm, zen cat ever. He's also got enough loose skin to sew together another kitten.

PS: lessthansign3, that hamster is so freaking cute :3 I wish I could have one but my mom thinks all rodents are plague carrying monsters or something.

Can't have any pets with fur basically, because of my family's allergies...although I do have a dog. Used to have fish. I had one goldfish that lived about FOUR YEARS, then got eaten by my mom's algae eater...she says as revenge...my fish took a hobby of eating all her algae eaters...:) Anyway, since then, all my fish haven't lived a week, basically.

But now, I just have my dog Samantha, and an adorable Salamander, Frozi.

One cat named Michelle. She is 12

One dog named Maggie. She is two.

But they both live at my parents because I moved. I had another dog but I decided to get rid of her because I didn't think it be fair for my parents to care for her because it might be a few years before I get a house and it be a lot of work to have her in an apartment. Lot of places don't allow pets or allow small ones and she is too big. She might be unhappy in a city anyway because it be hard for her to run around.
Titanic is a good diaper movie, lots of flooding.

i'm proud to say we've adopted two boys from the humane society they were strays before coming to the shelter and they were there for a year before we took them in.

They named them bart and stewie they are 2, we have kept their names, they've been here for almost 48 hours.

Here are the new boys Stewie & Bart

... ...aren't cats just adorable... ...I love the way they yawn; the sound their claws make as they scratch the carpet; the fact that they are like big balls of fur; and the fact that they ARE loving, despite what others say about them.

Hi, Butterfly Faerie,
Good on you for adopting a couple of adult cats! Usually everybody just wants kittens, and the adult cats get overlooked. A kitten is only a kitten for a few months.
All our cats are cats somebody threw away. Some I rescued as babies, some I found as adult strays, and some adopted us, coming out of the woods and climbing over the fence to get in. Everybody is neutered, vaccinated, and cared for. I wish I could save the world, but if I can at least save a few little lives, that is worth something.
Your Bart and Stewie look just like our Tom and Jerry!

Yeah I felt bad for them, and they are soooo sweet.

There were something like 84 adult cats at the shelter, mostly cats without a sibling, but there were a couple with a brother or sister, and those are hard to adopt.

The kittens that come in go to two local pet stores for adoption. And you are right the adults always get over looked.

This is their first family to.

Here are a couple more.

Ah, I see you have the perfect fabric for clawing!
Quickly, before your poor furniture is toast, make a scratching post:
Take a 4 foot piece of 1x2 wood, tightly wrap sisal rope around it, and fasten this post firmly to a table leg or some other stable object near where the cats frequent. More than one scratching post is best. Until the cats are firmly accustomed to using the posts, I'd cover the nice furniture with something to protect it.
