What can I focus on, what I get stuck on the "I'm not asleep yet." train of thought. I know that it's probably keeping me up. I don't know whatelse to focus on. I've tried breathing and thinking of a dream. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. Anyone else have that problem? And have you found a solution?

I have this problem too and also with my methods not always working. For example I tried telling myself 'I am asleep' over and over again and that seemed to work about a month ago but it doesn't work any more. What has worked now has been starting to tell myself a story or visualising a relaxing place.

Yeah. I think I need to come up with a story (visual) that I can think of every time (unless it gets old), instead of trying to think of one on the spot. That's what I meant by thinking of a dream. Thanks for the reply.
I tried EFT last night and that was the last effort I did before I went to sleep so I'm going to try it again tonight.
