Hi my name is Tamal. I am suffering from insomia from last 2 weeks. I am working in night shifts and had no problem sleeping in day and at night at my holidays. I am doing this shift from last year. Suddently 2 weeks back in holiday i woke up exactly after 2 hours. Which is around 3 am and could not able to go back to sleep. Around 8am i did sleept nice in the morning. This problem run 3-4 days but i didnt really cared as i use to get enough sleep in morning. Lately few days again woke up exactly after 2 hours at 3 am could not sleep at all full night and i didnt slept all day inorder to get a good night sleep next night. This backfired as again next day i got 4 hours of sleep. Now i got reql sleep anxiety i feel i cant sleep at all. Even a sight of bed terrying me. My bed room became torture chamber. 2 nights of 2-4 hours sleep. Do you think i should check doctor or wait for 1-2 more days.

*mod edit* start going to your doctor.
If the *mod edit* doesn't work, go to your doctor as soon as you can. The process for getting any medication or any real help for sleep is a slow one. I went to the doctor 5 times over the course of two weeks when I first had trouble with my insomnia. They are so reluctant to give you anything. You may want to think about seeing an actual psychiatrist for it as well, but of course try *mod edit* before anything. I know a lot of people whose lives have changed because of it! And its just a natural enzyme that your body already produces to help you sleep. Many people struggle to sleep when their body stops producing this enzyme. Best of luck!
