So te past couple of nights, I just can't go to sleep. And when I can't go to sleep, I get really scared and nauseous. These two places that i'm sleeping in are no where new. I've been sleeping on the ship for over 9 months because I just got back from deployment. When I tried to sleep today, I was comfortable but then it felt like I was spinning, and I wasn't. So I kept trying, and same results. Anyone else have this problem? It makes me feel better talking about it as well.

Do you think that you could be suffering from some form of PTSD or do you not feel that you encountered anything traumatic? I think that the best thing to do would be to talk to a psychiatrist about your issues and maybe see if you can get a prescription to help you get to sleep for the first few weeks while you get back to settled into your ‘normal’ life.
