Hi would like to introduce myself

Hi this is Aphrodite from Australia. I have just started a forum for chronic pain sufferers and I am out looking for ideas, support and suggestions from other forums with regards to my site.

So many people need these types of resources. Australia has very little mental health support for our community and it is a subject that I am passionate about.

I don't know about your particular area of interest but here are a couple of sites that you might learn from and apply:

This first one is the Expert Patients Programme which may give you an idea or two. It's UK-based but the philosophy is one of empowerment and there may be something you could apply.

This second is about OCD but you can see how - with news, information, support groups and so on - the site is organised. Again there may be ideas for you. I wish you all the best for your site.
