Here’s an update on my story. My ex has continued to live with the guy she was having the affair. He was divorced a month after our divorce and was taken to the cleaners by his wife although he was left with 1/4th interest in their home where he lives with my ex and his parents. My ex continued in her old job telling lies about where she lived, etc. He obtained work driving a garbage truck, but has since found employment as a jail guard. Meanwhile she quit her job at a medical office as she was tired of sick people. She is working part time waiting tables and as a clerk. But life must be good as they got married yesterday. She was divorced four months and he three. Trouble may be right around the corner as his ex still owns a quarter of their house and wants her share. I believe this quick marriage was her way of justifying her infidelity over the last year, being discovered, and divorced so quickly. I felt closure when I learned of the marriage.
