Although having followed Bam for some time, so know she will not be in the least bit phased by what you say, that is a personal, hurtful, nasty thing to say Sofrance and a condescending attempt to get a reaction. I think 'the entire world' will realise that you can, indeed, read - oh, and write too. Thing is, you look but you don't see, hear but you don't listen and write but you don't read well.

Thank you so much for your touching concern. I won't fall off the ladder. If I do I will land on nons and walk away without a scratch. Ah the joy of HPD.

LOL LOL. Another classic example of how the world revolves around you? Hate to disapoint you but I actually had company-you were the last thing on my mind. Do you honestly think that you could have that much of an impact on me that I would go 'off to have a little cry'?? LOL. Now who's displaying the maturity of a 13 year old? Oh yeah, that's right....whoops! lol

However much you attack me "you don't read well" remains very poor English and doesn't make any sense.

Hi sofrance. l am on this site to actually learn something about my condition and to get a fair perspective from nons and hpds alike. l know that there will always be debates on this site, with people giving their opinionns and hopefully respecting the opinions of others they disagree with. The "tit for tat" petty approach on this board has completely detracted from the original subject, which was to discuss HPD men. This is disrespctful to the original person who posted here, who made some valid points and wanted to explore them. This is not a personal attack on you, for you have made some valid points in past posts, but can we please keep to the subject in hand. I feel that you are trying to provoke reactions in people, and are taking the posts in an entirely different direction. l do not want to enter into a long debate with you, for l can already anticipate your anger in your response to my post. Sure, vent your opinions, even do so angrily if that is how you feel, for we are all free to express here, but please do not derail from the original subject, for that cheapens other people's posts and opinions and is a form of attention seeking. You will see that l have, in my posts, tried to be respectful to other people, and as l am learning empathy, l am beginning to see how things are from the nons side. To dismiss their pain is disrespectful. l am trying to be fair and see things from all perspectives, from hpds and nons alike, and to contribute with my own perspective too.

Why would you anticipate my anger? I have said what I think and you have said what you think. I would never be angry over that. I am entitled to my say and I would never say to you that you aren't entitled to yours. Its surely discussion.

Because, Sofrance, that's what usually happens. Slightest hint of criticism and it's attack mode

sofrance1 wrote:I would never be angry over that.

I think the facts prove you wrong - not just from this thread, a generalisation. "Watch the actions, not the words" is often quoted on here and rightly so. Your last reply has a hint of anger anyway, and is very 'me, me, me' isn't it?

I hope you don't think I'm being petty here, it's not meant to be, it's meant to show you how a 'non' might perceive your answers and attitude, as you say - it's surely discussion.

So much like my X!
