Is my Ex's BFF Histrionic???

Postby Andrea621 » Tue Jul 14, 2009 8:45 pm

Long story short, we met at a bar where HD/BFF bartended...(he's divorced, 1 year, not over it yet) and the first few months were like Heaven, I thought I had finally found my Soul mate, and he seemed to feel the same. We were all friends for awhile. BFF fakes everything from MS to cancer, and people believe it, lol. She dresses like a total prostitute, and wers tons of makeup and jewelery.

I realized that he wasnt over his divorce (another story). We started arguing a little bit. I know that she got to him...he hangs on her every word to this day, he cant see that hes being trapped where she wants him...as a main supply. Suddenly, BFF fabricated some story about me stealing free drinks, and XBF came to my defense, and he got mad at her for a little bit. And then he suddenly changed after running to her with his relationship "problems". Of course, we were broke up without warning a few weeks later.

The BFF/Barmaid did a HUGE smear campaign against me...my XBF joined in, that really hurt...it got ugly. I got ugly. So BFF kicked me out of the bar! She tried to start a physical fight with me, and I pushed her into a wall...I now know that whole thing was engineered to get rid of me.

NOTE: His BFF controls him to the degree that she pretty much runs his relationships, always making sure that SHE'S the most important person in his life, not his GF's. I'm sure that she connived and convinced him to dump me, she's got a bad rep for that kind of game. They have known each other 8 years, and do not sleep together.

Can someone explain this behavior to me? Is she?

I guess what I want to know is....do their "friends" ever realize what they are really up to? She has done stuff like this many times, to many people (usually females, but some guys, too). Are they that good at manipulation? I know Ex is still vulnerable from his divorce, but its almost like he's a Robot or something when it comes to her, and she had about 10 other guys that she uses like that. Does anyone ever leave the fan club?
