To the mods: I'm wondering when hateful language is acceptable and when it is not? I saw a newbie narcissist banned within ten posts with one warning this week for using hateful language in the sexual addiction forum

It's not hateful, it is descriptive. It is impossible for an HPD to lack a soul when souls do not in fact exist. On that note, it is impossible for such a criticism to be taken as an insult in so far as the soul serves no functional purpose. As a criticism of an absence of a fictional aspect of being, it is very obviously supposed to be a figurative criticism, pointing toward their lack of depth and worth as people and in their relationships.

It wasn't too cryptic really. When I call my step-mother a soul-sucking hag, I am not suggesting she feeds on the essence of human souls, so much as drawing a parallel to that very telling metaphor. I suppose it comes down to comprehension, a strong spot for me in primary school.

PygPop, in typical HPD fashion shot right past the meat of the post to being personally offended , by nit-picking the syntax, at very nearly the speed of light!

I felt reasonably sure that someone else would post and point this out to PygPop and the forum without having to do it myself.

When I posted "Finally someone get's it" was my way of saying, "Attab y"! to the poster that happend to be you!

I think it's telling that you would refer to your soul when describing your step- . For how would you know she was a soul-sucking hag if she weren't sucking on yours? Rhetorically speaking of course.

I like the term "soul-sucking hag". It makes logical sense in the universe. A HPD is most often female. Matter and energy move throughout the cosmos in a form of osmosis...high volume move to areas of low volume in an effort to create equilibrium. The soul-less HPD seemingly has a black hole where her soul should be so it just makes too much sense that she would suck the souls from her victims. Or like a bad Hollywood movie...

I believe she is borderline, or possibly paranoid. Not sure.
