Not sure she is HPD, but agree that does sound messed up. I'm fine with employers establishing code of conduct and dress guidelines that reflect the owner's business goals too (assuming nobodies 'rights' are violated), just they need to be established/agreed on all along. Sounds like she was a good employee otherwise. It may be a legal firing, but from what little of the story I've heard, yes also doesn't sound right/fair to me.
