I wanted to be one before aswell. I've realised i'm way to moody to be one.

I think you have to be able to be nice like 24/7 and to everyone.

And apparently theres inner moderating drama.

I wouldn't say you have to be nice all the time! We are people just like you!!! We are not professionals. We are VOLUNTEERS! We all have our moments like anyone else and we are known to speak our peace on topics just like anyone else would. But yeah....for the most part I would say we try to be fair and "nice"!!!

We are not professional counselors or anything to the like. We came to this site just like any of you guys have.....I was on the site about a year before I started moderating....so I've been moding now about 2 yrs. Basically all of us that have been moderating...far as I know of each of us....we all came to the boards with our own things to post about....again...just like any other member here who happens to not currently be a mod. After we posted for awhile we either asked to be a mod. or were invited to be. I mean....I can't stress enough just because you see "moderator" after our post name....it shouldn't imply to you that we hold ourselves to be better then you on the board or like we have some special credentials, etc. Again....really....outside of posting about ourselves here much like all of you do.....we just help "watch" the boards for spam...inappropriate posting....if members have concerns on the board they bring them to us.....stuff like that.

That's about how it goes here. You mentioned inner dramas on the boards w/ mods. Sure. I guess there can be that from time to time! But I would say for the most part we all get along great and I feel we have a really great "family feeling" between us mods. It's a great place to mod and as you all know from posting here...just a great place to be a member!

 8)

it's just my style in posting here....I could give a ###$ less about typos or "......"s or how often I use "!!!!"s......I'm a very busy stay-at-home mom with two young girls....when I'm on here I'm always in a hurry to get out what I want to say...course what I say comes from my heart mind you.........so I type as I speak.....I don't worry about proper puncuation....paragraphs, etc. ....save that for my everyday life outside the boards where I have to be neat, organized and just so.....here I'm just me.....I just type and GO!

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh, i sympathise....i really do :D

Just seemed as if you were on a bit of a pissed off rant. Told you to ease up because there was no reason for pissed offness....or explinations.

PS. I like the rolling eye's emoticon, nice touch.
