Having trouble making a diagnoses(sp?)

Postby Em6 » Wed Apr 26, 2006 4:21 am

I think I might be having anxiety attacks, but I'm really not sure. I've been thinking it has all been allergic reactions, but it just keeps getting worse. I've went home from school early ever since last thursday. It all starts just suddenly, I get this massive headache and these hive type things show up on my wrists and I get bad stomache pains and I can't concentrate on anything, and basically go insane if anyone is talking because all the sounds and lights make it worse. I get dizzy and feel like I am going to pass out. I know that I have been diagnosed with depression and I was put on prozac for that, but I just kinda stoped seeing my therapist, seeing him and being on the medicine just seemed to make it worse. It got better than all of this happend and I'm starting to get worried because it is really messing with everything and making everyone get mad at me. I've went to the doctors for it, and they have no idea what is going on, they just look at me and basically send me off. If anyone has any ideas as to what might be going on, please let me know.

How long do these episodes last? During episdoes do you get intense feelings of dejavu' or related sensing?

It might indeed be an allergic reaction, or possibly something neurological (considering hedache, sensory dysfunction and dizziness).

Again, an allergic reaction sounds as if it hits the spot. I get the exact same symptoms during my reactions. Can you trace back your steps and calculate patters in what you eat, where you go, the time it happens?

With the symptoms, it sounds as if it is more that just anxiety.

It sounds like an allergic reaction to something, I've never heard of hives coming with anxiety.

I get hives when I'm anxious but they go away in like an hour.
