I would recommend this short called inside.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0tITzDjPf4g

It is not all that long, but is quite triggerin to us. It feels like when ya switching like crazy and havin an argument about somethin. Obviously it is very fictionalized, and exaggerated, but emphasizes the chaotic exhaustion from flippin constantly and the struggle of tryin to front and get what you want. Ppl in here constantly argue like this, and i suppose that is why i find it triggering. Hope it helps.

BeneathTheSurface, I certainly been where he is been expect for those ones stayed in the background for the most part and wasn't that loud! Meeting room slow to speak! I have ones like that that sound like a monster or some type of vampire or zombie... I certainly hope those ones don't front like that! Good grief, I hope he didn't see all of them around him like that in that way! I enjoyed it though it was kind of cool.

Believe it or not, ugh green text.. Gotta be able to specify. Anywho. Believe it or not, the chrome color is a lil too much for me. I would love to have a Lotus, just that I would prefer a matte black with red accents. I like the matted colors for cars, don't know why. Now if I lived in the future then sure I would drive an all chrome car. Alas I do not live in the future. And I did not remember that trailer personally so I googled "The Host movie cars". Now I need to watch the trailer. Cid watched it like three times, one of those times was to show his SO.

hahaha it's all cool Ty. Just wanted to know your point of view.

I have seen matted cars too, like them also.

hahaha so funny that Cid saw the trailer many times. I am like this. I watch it, like it, and then repeat it again showing it to people.

Yeah I'll watch a trailer to a movie I'm excited about non-stop. I've watched the Batman Vs. Superman trailer maybe 20 times and shown everyone. Same thing with well all trailers. I will sit on youtube and just watch nothing but new movie trailers. I also love going to the movie theater. And now I live right next to a giant really fancy one. Lucky me. lol

Actually I have noticed in a lot of video games lately they have mentioned Dissociative Identity Disorder. Like in Metal Gear Solid V they mentioned a character was suffering this, don't want to spoil it. Harvey Dent from Batman they mentioned in his Bio he suffers from DiD. Final Fantasy VII- Cloud Strife, and I missed this from my favorite anime Shinobu Sensui from YuYu Hakusho. Spec Ops the line is another one.

Don't forget Deadspace which doesn't mention DID but does have space dementia with a woman in his head telling him what to do.

Wait that's not DID that's marriage......

so I guess our cats aren't necromutants?

iZombie is not accurate as her alts change all the time. but what if she eats one of us????

I would volunteer, but my brain will probably cause her damage.
At least She could be cute in that body, She likes the actress would make the character attack/ravish her roommate or that attorney friend. Poor though Marshall no fun for him.

In Inuyasha there's another portrayal of DID. This is the character:

The Host (2013 film)

Postby Una+ » Mon Nov 11, 2019 5:53 pm

Spoiler alert: this post gives away some movie plot details of The Host, a 2013 film.

Way back in 2016 Sea @ Seangel commented here:

Seangel wrote:I recently watched The Host and it was so much DID like, that it was uncanny.

Yup. At long last I watched this movie and sure enough, it is the subjective experience of DID dressed up as space aliens, complete with the familiar DID love triangle (quadrangle?) situation. If only DID were as easily resolved as parasitic space aliens. The heavy dose of DID wish fulfillment at the end made me cry: the love triangle is resolved by the transfer of one identity state to a new and very conveniently empty body. The movie is kind of bad but my husband and I enjoyed it. We can relate.

The movie is based on a novel by Stephenie Meyer, now on my list to read ASAP.

The Host is a great example of the overworked appropriation of DID (MPD), as discussed by characters in the movie Adaptation. Adaptation is of course doing exactly the same.
