Thanks, I have so far found some useful information. I think it is helping me understand them better. I still don't know if I want to seek counseling or not. I am just so afraid of how they would react.

Apologies for the late greeting but welcome to both of you ^^

Katherine I FULLY understand the fear of seeing a professional but it really could help in the long run. You obviously have some wonderful supportive friends, is there a way that one of them could go with you for moral support? Understanding your system is a scary and difficult thing but not impossible. If you all feel comfortable with it, maybe try and make some contact with your others. Opening the lines of communication seems to be one of the most important things we can all do.

OK so I'm not much help I know, but hopefully you'll all find the site helpful, it really is a great place with amazing people!
