If I draw it someone might see. Nobody must know. Nobody must see. The walls have ears. And eyes. Eyes are everywhere, so I can't, or they'll see.
Chloe. X
She wants to draw, and I'd rather it was out of our head and on paper tbh. Just us, alone at home. But ^^^ :-/ It's nothing bad just things we feel aren't "allowed". Is this the denial thing? Other people don't want it to be, therefore it mustn't be, because it's not true/wrong somehow? I ask who will see, she says spirits, God, ghosts, dead people, angels, someone will see. Since I can't say those things don't exist... Any ideas?

And if they see, then what? Will something bad happen?

Hmm good question! Thanks. I'm not getting an answer from Chloe. Just screaming in terror and running away to huddle in the corner with Sophie. Don't really know what to make of that. Maybe we just have to wait for the paranoia to subside? X

Well it sounds like she's pretty scared of what might happen if they see! Can you reassure her that she is safe, no matter who sees? Can you assure her that she will not be punished for anything, and that she is not bad?
I would tell her that, If she lets you see what she wants to draw, it will make her stronger, because then it won't just be what she sees, but you'll see it too, and you can work on it together.

I agree with divided, can you offer to sit with her while she draws? Sometimes littles just need someone with them.

This is confusing. I know what the drawing is, Chloe keeps showing it to me as a series of mental images aprox every 10secs! That's why I'd prefer it out, so she doesn't have to keep showing me on the inside. But Chloe doesn't want any outsiders to see. She's afraid of being misunderstood, being abandoned. Afraid that one day when we die nobody in heaven will talk to us because they saw what was in our head, even though it was nothing bad/weird/abnormal.
Ok. I think I know where this comes from. A similar real-life situation, years ago. Still don't know how to fix it though. This could have something to do with me, I suppose. It was round about the time I started existing. My brain aches. Ugh. Bye. X
