Benefits of Eercise...Who Knew?

Postby epluribusunum » Wed Dec 14, 2011 6:50 am

I have continued my training for the March 10K and May marathon. Saturday, I was unable to meet my training goals, but learned a lesson about what I needed to change. I wasn't breathing deeply enough. I tend to hyperventilate in normal mode.

Today, my coach set a goal and told me it would be good if I hit 75% of it. I made 100% and had some left to spare, so I was very happy.

I have been coasting on the endorphins all day, being very mellow.

My T was right; eercise is helping. I still switch, still struggle, but I feel a strong sense of confidence concerning what I am able to do in life because of what I am accomplishing in this training.
