Damn I never found something that explains me so much
I experience major passive influence, such as writing, ego alien thoughts, impulses to do things, ideas pictures flashbacks etc.

The way passive influence seems to work for me generally is that I will be triggered and I'm fed all this not new information but kinda a reminder that makes you go "ohh yes that too" of why this situation is bad and all the smart reasons to justify me acting a way, and to cut people off etc. I'm unable to see other peoples opinions during this time and I'm willing to almost do anything and not regret it - a complete opposite to myself. ( but I definitely won't because I've learnt about did way more)
I feel like the same person when I'm influenced - just a different kinda age or mentality where I lead a different approach to life!
It's almost like a drug where you know it's bad but you're experiencing a high so you worry about the effects later, giving into passive influence is one of the biggest emotional releases for me,
But after I am filled with huge regret and Cannot relate emotionally to them feelings of the influencer and my family and friends are left confused.

The best quote about did I read on here that said " don't think of did like different people inside one person but different versions of that person fighting to lead their own life in a shared body"

For pdoc, sometimes it is just a gentle shift in the mind. This feeds the hidness of alters, but if u still can lost time exert passive influence still get memories and notice then doesn't everyone wins in the end especially in phases where u are kind of managing it better than towards the beginning. Allowing folks more time to express themselves without all of the stimga it doesn't seem flashy or enough. It just easy to ease in then to be told, look at you, or who is that.....As I had one told us, on more of our big switches, that wasn't what I would call passive influence......

Possibly one of Una wonderer shares since this is 2011 I dont necessarily agree. I tend to gravatiate to Did-research's website easier to explain. Made thoughts made feelings in my mind is a different facet of knowledge for DID
