Brandic, thank you for the bottom of my heart for keeping me on track with this. It does seem a lot easier to just tell this person (even though I truly believe I shouldn't have to) and then "run away".

Right now I am going to drop off a letter to this care coordinator that basically says: do it if you dare, but you have no right to and I WILL get you in trouble if you do it. I have made sure they know I do NOT give them consent to disclose it so if they do want to disclose it they have to have VERY good reason to do so. I hope they will back down. But I can't let myself believe that they will because I will hate to have to go through the emotions that get thrown up from realising that she will have to know.

Right, off to post that letter.

YES!!!

Your strength is admirable bourbon. I can't tell you how happy I am, for your sake, that you are fighting them on this. You deserve standing up for yourself. Whatever the outcome, at least now you'll know you fought for yourself and what was right. Also, I would encourage you to surround yourself with as much support as possible. Going about these sorts of things alone is tough, if not near impossible (although I have done it so I know it can be done). Know you have my support and everyone else's on here. You are strong, woman!

Big hugs, smiles, anything else comforting... you are not in this alone.
