(swan) Thanks Borg! :D Kitty is so happy to get comments on her drawings! I think drawing has been a wonderful way for Kitty to express herself.

Borg
Thanks. This is a work in progress, there is something that all do not like about the picture want to change it,add to it. Seems the artistic side comes in spasms and fits, like a storm.

Thank you! That's really sweet of you to say so! We like your art as well. Here is one of our favorites.

It reminds us of looking through a kaleidoscope. It's really interesting, because when I look in it, it looks like a vortex I could fall right into, like Alice in Wonderland falling into the hole under the tree, but it also is like a sphere I could hold in my hand. Really interesting!

Painted mask

As her mind drifts
To the dark billows
Engulfing her soul,
You see,
Red, orange and yellow.
The grey fills her eyes
With salty stains.
You see,
Green and blue.
Smearing her
Well painted mask.
No one knows
About the dark billows.
You see,
Purple and black.
They fail to use
Intuition,
To understand
The salty stains,
Because all they see
Is her well painted mask.

she is me

Postby wheatthins » Tue Aug 21, 2012 11:45 am

Who is she?
The girl with no face,
Hidden in a dark room.
Tears and cries fill the dark room.
Pictures of memories,
Unpleasant memories;
Were her décor.
For so long
I wondered
Who she was.
I heard her voice
When I was young.
Then, I forgot her
Left her All alone
In the hidden dark room.
She was tired of hiding.
And so
She showed herself.
She showed me
What she knew,
And what she hid.
I wept for days,
Maybe years,
Still ignoring her plea.
Until,
One day
I realized that this girl with no face,
Was a part of me
That faced the dark,
Bore the pain,
Shed the tears,
All alone.
The girl with no face
Was a part of me
I disserted
Hence to not remember,
Remembering,
Meant
To feel
And to feel
Meant to hurt,
But
I feel now,
And I see,
And I know
The girl with no face.
I have reconciled
And given her a name.
The girl with no face
Is me.
And no longer
Does she go
Without a face.

Splinter Heads

Splinter heads shovel
mildew stained memories.
Separate - equal, parts
evaporate in thin air
only to take form within
a shell that truly doesn't exist.
Erasable are our eyes,
fears remain locked behind
bars - cages, like animals
we await reality's burden.

A poem by Lucian Blaga, I found it at this blog. The man who writes the blog has translated it.
http://rarerarefind.blogspot.ro/

Quietude

It is so silent all around me that I can hear
the moonbeams when they strike the windows.

Inside me
a stranger’s voice has come awake
singing of a longing that is not mine.

They say that those who died before their time long ago
with young blood in their veins,
with strong passion in their blood,
with strong sunlight in their passion,
will come,
come and live on
in us
those unlived lives.

It is so silent all around me that I can hear
the moonbeams when they strike the windows.

Ah, who knows in whose breast – once, in eternity
you, my soul, will play
on the soft strings of silence,
on the harp of darkness –
a choked-off song of longing and desire to live? Who knows, who knows?

Sorry, Kathryn got excited, it's a sad poem in ways, but it's become a "joke" between her and Perry, it's her way of cheering him up

I wrote this one

A perry does not go peep in the night
a perry does not sleep or fight
he only sits and dreams a dream
that someday the sun will beam
perhaps that day will come so soon
maybe he should drive?
Vroom Vroom
Girls are the devil for perries
they trick him into thinking
they are beautifull faries
granting wishes? What a lie!
Perrys just sit and slowly die

There is so much talent here!!!! Wow!!! :D Very impressed! ^^;

I thought I'd post some stuff. Some songs and a picture really! I drew a dragon :D

And...here is me convering a sublime song. >.> It cut me off though...

The Ells are the talented musicians hah...but I love goofing around on the guitar. :P
If you click that little box you can listen to it as streaming audio! No need to download.
Please forgive me for the crappy quality... recorded it on the iPhone.

There's also two acoustic songs on our Tindeck profile that are original ones the Ells did. (:
You can hear them *looks for links* here we go. Rat's is also recorded on the phone so it's not ideal quality, but Mags put hers on the macbook so it sounds much better. :P bah, i digress.

Magdelline's Song:

Shay wrote the poem the way she did to make a point. For easier reading, here it is with all the letters in the "correct" order:

Words, letters
Letters and words
Swords and settlers
Drows and terlets
Does the order matter
of the letters?

What makes words words?
Who decided how to spell?
Not I, I assure you.
So who?

Who decided what words mean?
"Slarit" could mean "dog" if I want it to.
Who had the power to make our language?
Why is it the way it is?

Fidget

1/28/2007

Continuously moving.
Thoughts bubbling. Ideas brewing.
Twitchy fingers wandering,
As the mind is busy pondering.

Overflowing with emotions,
No words are ever spoken.
Constant movements are made instead,
Distracting releases of thoughts in my head.

River Rambles

5/5/2009

Busy, bubbling, babbling brook,
Water rivulets run away.
Splishing, splashing, small waves crashing,
Roaring rivers love to play.

Rising, falling, as rain comes calling,
Flooding, flowing, never slowing.
Until sunshine glimmers, shimmers, glows,
Warming, drying, reducing overflows.

Liquid crystal, mystical, magical,
Colors, highlights, shadows, shades.
Mirroring, reflecting, grasping, shows,
Blues, greens, purples, Earth's rainbows.
