Yeah, here too. Medical, financial and pretty much any decisions that have to do with our functional day-to-day life run through me, perhaps because I have a good knack for analyzing a situation from many perspectives. I wonder why that is. Or, it could also be that when I leave things like calling the insurance company up to my husband, I find out that he didn't get the correct information and it costs us thousands of dollars...it is often more work to let someone else take care of things like that than to just do so myself. You know, either or.

There was a time when things were really bad that I thought I would welcome hospitalization so I didn't have to manage all my and other peoples' "stuff" all the time. Glad I didn't though. I wouldn't want to disappear from my Boo's life for even a moment. I've seen what those withdrawals from a supposed caregiver can do first hand.
